Redhat Linux

The worlds no.1 Linux Operating system
Redhat Enterprise Linux is a superb operating system any system admistrator should have. It's unique, fast, stable & very reliable.
Novell

Officials Sponsors of Enterprise & Open Suse Linux
Open Suse is a superb Linux operating system with unique features. It's user interface is swift and increadibly cool.
Novell sponsors Suse Linux and offers support for it's enterprise versions and collaborates with it's community of developers for the open source version "open suse".
Fedora Linux

Fedora is a free version of Redhat Linux for developers
Now if ever you think an operating system is too good to be free, you might be thinking right. Fedora is the free version of Redhat Linux, released to the public & developed in partnership with a community of hardworking Linux developers. This distribution is released at least once every six - seven months & can be configured to suit any of your every need. A java development kit ( Jboss.org ), Windows cross compiler to develope, test & even run MS Windows applications within the comfort of your Fedora operating system, lots of open source applications, Virtualisation , Servers, Networking tools & much more. You'll need about one DVD for a full installation. Fedora installs it's applications in rpm(s) fromat or tarballs & even boast of more applications than RHEL (though most are beign tested).
Canonical

Sponsors of Ubuntu Linux O.S
Yeah! this fine debian based Linux distro is easy to use & install, one c.d is all it takes. Gnome desktop as it's default & claims it will remain a free Linux distribution. Ubuntu is fast gaining grounds around the globe & even in Nigeria, most Linux users ( though little ) i know of, make use of this baby right here. It comes with not as much applications compared to other top Linux distros, but the basic servers, network tools & add-ons. Installs it's applications with .deb files or tarballs. The KDE version can be installed from another c.d, packaged as KUbuntu for KDE lovers. Ubuntu offers support for users & is a lovely O.S to try on.
CENTOS

A community maintained Linux O.S based on Redhat
Cant afford Redhat Enterprise Linux, but need a stable O.S as strong if not exactly as good as RHEL, need it to be free or maybe you want to tweak it to your tatse all for free, then try out CENTOS. This Community maintained Enterprise Linux (CENTOS) is based on RHEL source code and is maintained by a team of Linux experts. Though if offers no guarantee or direct support, this Linux distribution is as stable, fast and dependable as RHEL. I call it a clone of RHEL with a different logo. Please note that although CENTOS is drawn from Redhat Enterprise Linux, it is not affiliated in anyway to Redhat Linux.
JBoss

A division of Redhat providing a platform for Java Developers and Software development at large
JBoss provides a complete suite of applications from Eclipse to Seam and more for Java developers or software developers on Fedora or Redhat Enterprise. This suite of Applications provided by the JBoss project aims at making development easy on Linux instead of porting your codes from adifferent O.S. M ore can be learnt from JBoss.org or JBoss.com for it's enterprise versions with support from the community.

MySQL

A fast, strong, stable and secure Database toolkit

MySQL has been our database tool ever since our inception. It's fast stable and reliable, no wonder we are affiliated to it. Our choice was made easier with the fact that MySQL provides it's open source version for anyone to test or use. There's a commercial version of MySQL as an Enterprise version with support provided for it..
